209. THE BATHROOM

A little bit of luxury...
The home tour and project isn't finished yet. We still have to see the bathroom, kitchen, bedroom and porch. Four left, but after todays post where I show you the bathroom, we're getting closer to the final countdown.
What about the bathroom? I always loved a 'luxury' style in these kind of rooms. It's the kind of space where you relax after a long day at work, where you can get some private me-time and enjoy the flavour of your favorite soap while reading a book or having a glass of champagne: like in the movies.
Every time I went to a hotel with a similar concept, I took loads of pictures as inspiration. Now I had the opportunity to make my 'hotel-feeling' dream come true and got every single detail as I wanted it to be: from the bathtub to the shower tap, mirror and floor. Because I do love warm feet and I needed some kind of wooden floor in my bathroom. Thanks to Thiry Paints I found a 'waterproof' quickstep floor, special made for kitchens and bathrooms. #happyme
