It's about details...
Having a minimalistic style isn't only about wearing the basic colors. Think about black, grey, khaki, camel and white. It's also about the details of the items you choose to create your outfit and style with. Those details are making it special, less boring or 'typical' minimalistic.

During the months, since I've discovered which style fits me the best, I've created a closet full of great basics but all with their specific details. I'm not looking anymore for a simple and basic black shirt (for example) but I would go for a black shirt with nice buttons or a nice fitting cut. Just like this sweater from COS. The color is light grey but the assymetric style and layering at the neck makes it such a great item which make my look a lot more special than if it was a grey sweater with a simple v-neck.

And all normcore/minimalistic-lovers know that COS is the place to be for all your great basics!
