Discovering my city...
It has been exactly two months since I moved out and started a new chapter in my own house: my home project. I'm living in a city in between Antwerp and Brussels: Mechelen. It's a city with a lot of history, nice buildings and secret but lovely locations to have a nice drink or to eat. My favorite restaurant, Il Capriani Lakeside, is also located in Mechelen and today I share with you a new hotspot I discovered a couple of weeks ago with colleagues: 'Sava Tapas Bar'.

Did I say tapas? Yes I did! A good and cosy tapas bar and only a few minutes away from my house. And let's be honest, it's not always easy to find a nice tapas bar if you're not in Spain itself, so I'm quite happy to discover a place like this. You can go to Sava for a nice drink after work, a coffee break during lunch time or to spend a great moment with friends while enjoying some tapas. The menu offers you a large assortment of tapas made of fish or meat and hot or cold ones. My alltime favorites are the patatas bravas, calamares, a good tortilla and if they have a plate full of Serrano ham, you will defenitely hear me ordering one of it. Okay, I'm hungry now!

If you're planning a city trip or day trip to Mechelen, be sure to pass by this bar. #happycity
