Alright, alright. There've been enough posts about fashion and beauty lately, so it's time to talk about food. And when we talk about food, delicious food, you have to be at 'Il Capriani'. Yes, my favorite place ever. Where else?

A couple of months ago, around October 2016, Brussels opened a new shopping complex - Docks - just outside the main shopping streets and craziness of the city. The shopping mall has some amazing interior, beauty and fashion stores all together, a cinema and food corners like Paul bakery for the early birds. But, but, but! They also added an 'Il Capriani' restaurant in January.

I've probably tried all of their restaurants. Antwerp, Turnhout, Mechelen and now Brussels. One by one my favorite places to go to when I am around or looking for a nice place to go out for dinner. And now I can just combinate delicious food with a shopping, I don't need to worry about the weather as it is a mall, and I can go to the cinema after it. How amazing sounds that? Pretty close to perfection. Ha! So it was obviously that I couldn't miss their new pearl. This time the interior has a nice mix between country touches and clean lines. The ceiling with the wooden beamed and the lightning are the finishing touches to the styling. And I didn't even mention the bar...

On the menu of our evening we had some suggestions. I really recommend to try them. They're always YUM-YUM and I've never been disappointed. On their menu itself there is also a large choice between pasta's, pizza's, fish or meat, vegetarian and ofcourse Italian desserts.

Starters: Vitello Tonato (I can eat it every day), parmesan croquettes and a carpaccio.
Main dish: Pasta pistacchio with lamb and salmon with spinach
Desserts: Cheesecake and tiramisu
