A cup of tea and a good book...
When I visited the house for the first time, before actually buying it, I immediately felt in love with the porch.
It's quite small but yet perfect during the winter months to sit down, relax with a cup of tea and read a good book. I saw myself spending a lot of time in the porch and I didn't even buy the house at that time. It was also the perfect oppotunity to keep the contrast between to old 'before-war' interior (as I call it) and the current minimalistic style. We kept the old doors, windows and bricks. The walls and doors have been painted in white to give the room as much light as possible and now it's the place where you can find me on a sunday afternoon with some magazines, my cup of tea and a piece of cake.
