It feels like it's autumn in Belgium. The rain doesn't stop, there's a lot of wind and we're walking around in boots and coats again. I really can't live in this kind of country any longer as it's making me depressed and if I could I would move to Spain right now. Luckily we have some festivals that are bringing the Caribbean vibes to Belgium. The first one? Afro Latino which took place at the beginning of July.
I've been thinking about it for months. And a week ago I finally made the decision to get myself a cute British short hair cutie. She was white with a silver shine and had yellow/orange bright eyes. Everything was set up in the house and the cat was trying to adapt herself to my place. Unfortunately she couldn't stay as I felt extremely anxious after only two hours and I was just so scared that I couldn't give her everything she would deserve. The result? I have been a lady with a cat for two hours. But when shooting this outfit, a cat showed up pretty similar to the one I had.
A sign? Probably. So now this is now one of my favorite pictures ever as I truly believe in signs.
On the pictures I'm wearing my new big tule skirt from ASOS, which I absolutely love, in combination with my new studded flat shoes from Barracuda. Aren't they amazing? You can find them here on their webshop.
What else? This week I've been to Madrid with C&A as you could see on Instagram. Unfortunately Paris has been cancelled for me due to being sick. I'm currently still laying in the couch and trying to get better asap. But don't worry, cause that means more time for the blog! #alittlewin

Imagine this: How amazing would it be to go to work in your pyjama's or an outfit that is as comfortable as them joggings on sundays. It would make every work day so much better, really. No matter how long the day is, you will be as comfy as home.
Since I've bought this kimono/pyjama styled jacket during my visit to London, I can't get enough of this trend. I've ordered a dress in the same design and even got myself a shirt pretty similar to it. I'm even thinking that it should be the new uniform at work. What you think?
These pictures were taken in Lisbon. Don't forget to read my travel guide!

My birthday is coming closer - Friday the 16th of September - and I'm already on my way to Bari, Italy, when you read this to have a small pre-birthday holiday. Every year around my day I refuse to work and try to spend as much time with family and friends on holidays. So Bari is the first trip, London the second one and Lisbon to end the week. Three in a row, 24candles to blow out.
And as every years dilemma: what am I going to wear on my Birthday night? A dress? Or maybe a nice jumpsuit? Dunno, dunno, dunno. Until I saw the H&M Studio collection at their Pre sale event last week and I fell in love with the pinstriped blazer and bustier. I choose a see-through dark blue top for underneath and my outfit was complete.
So this is a little preview for friday's eve. Pictures from London (cause on Friday I will already be over there) and at Sketch will be shared on Instagram, just as all the pictures during my holidays. Be sure to follow me! 'Cause cakes, donuts and happy moments will be shown for sure. #birthdaygirl

The last week I'm all into dresses and jumpsuits. Probably it's because of the good weather, or I'm just leaving behind my huge minimalistic style since I've changed things in life. Trousers are storaged in a box and skirts, dresses and fluid fabrics are taking over the closet.
Today I'm showing you my new khaki jumpsuit which I found on ASOS. My daily webshop check.
And I'm probably not the only one checking it out everyday... #oops - Right now I'm also getting some items from the new collections as sales time is almost over. And I need to admit that I clicked a lot of shoes home... I guess it's time to expand the shoes collection.

Summer has arrived! Hello sun, bikini, swimming pool and donut. With this perfect weather I'm spending all my free time at my parents house. We've always had a pool, where my donut can fit in without any problems, and I just can't resist to go over there every time the sun is out. Did someone say pool party? 'Cause I'm in!
Ofcourse, that means less updates on the blog. I'm sorry, but sun is just calling. We've been waiting for months to get a bit of sun and good temperatures that I just need to enjoy it as much as possible. But don't worry! There're still daily updates on my Instagram and Facebook fanpage.
Sales are also coming to an end and my store is receiving loads of new collection. That will give me time again to spend on the blog as well and to write new posts. Are you ready?
And oh yes, you hear it well: I'm enjoying my new life, the new chapter. #lovelife
Goodmorning everyone! Right now I've packed my suitcase and I'm ready to leave to Greece for a week. That means a total break from the blog and a detox from work life, - BUT! - not on Instagram (@CINDYVANDYCK) or Snapchat (@THEAFTERWORKBLO). Be sure to follow me on both to see outfits, beach pictures and ofcourse some food shots. #duhh - See you later peeps!
Yes I'm wearing a bodycon dress! Not really something you might be used to see as my daily style because you all know that I love my black jeans in ripped, high waist or just the skinny version. And yes it was even quite out of my comfort zone at the very beginning, even for myself, but after a while I enjoyed walking around in my high heels and dress that I got some extra dresses. Perfect for summer though, as trousers are too sticky: Thank God for skinny jeans!
At the same time I'm showing you my new burgundy laced heels from ASOS. Oh my! I love them so much and they're comfortable like crazy. Also the bag and sun glasses are new. All new, new: so I'm totally ready for a new summer season with these pieces. Are you ready as well?

On sunday we had the first hot temperatures in Belgium and I enjoyed a couple of hours of tanning in my garden. Even if I was just surrounded by four white walls, I could imagine with my closed eyes the palm trees, sand and sea. And even my vacation is not that far away anymore! So it's time to get myself some new swimwear. My colors? Khaki, red, a bit of neon and ofcourse BLACK.
